Ms. Anndi J. Liggett is a senior from Reston, Virginia, double majoring in Media Communication Studies and French.  Ms. Liggett aspires to work in television and film production, or programming, and she takes every opportunity to further this dream.  Ms. Liggett has a strong dedication to excellence, and makes sure she excels in every endeavor she seeks. She currently serves as the Program Director for Florida State University Homecoming 2014, where she is responsible for leading a team in coordinating large-scale events including Warchant, a concert seating up to 9,000 people, and Seminole Festival, a day long carnival. She is responsible for proposing allocations to Student Government, managing the budget, and supervising the committees, along with a host of other duties. While pursuing her bachelors’ degrees, Ms. Liggett still finds time to give back to her community. She currently serves as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend area.

Ms. Liggett prides herself in continually bettering her University through leadership positions, service involvement, inspiring upcoming student leaders, and being a community role model. She has held many positions on campus including serving as the Operations Co-Chair (2012) and Programming Chair (2013) for Florida State Homecoming Pow Wow, and working as the Media Director for the FSU AcaBelles, a premiere all-female a capella group on campus. She has also served as an Intern Producer for WFSU TV/FM Public Broadcasting, by assisting with production of a weekly show.  She is currently the Vice-President of the Garnet and Gold Guides, who serve as host and elite recruiters for prospective football players and their families visiting. She serves as a University Ambassador, one of the 10% of students selected from a pool of 200 to represent Florida State University and the Admissions Office by leading tours for prospective students and their families, giving VIP tours, and assisting visitors.

Ms. Liggett has proven herself to be the epitome of leadership and service, and is constantly pushing to help better the Florida State community. While doing this, she has managed to remain on the Dean’s List since she arrived at FSU, as well as receive a list of awards and honors. She is a member of the Garnet and Gold Key Leadership Honorary Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, Seminole Torchbearers, as well as Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership Honor Society.
